day 3_ 6/10/08
Festivaleros: Myself (yup, I went alone!)
Yesterday I had just a film: KRABAT. I was really excited about that one, because it is based on a book I read years ago and I love:KRABAT AND THE SATANIC MILL.
So, I got there iwth tiem enough to have lunch and queu. But not much, because at 14:00 on a monday, there was not many people in there. Most of the people in the there seemed to have read the book when they were young (just like me), but there was also a high school class on a field trip and, I guess, some people that just belived what the Sitges organization said: this was the german Harry Potter. It's not true, of course. They have nothing to do. And even if I like Potter books a lot, this is way older. German are not trying to make a cool saga to ma,tch the english or anything like that.
But, as I said in earlier posts, Sitges organization is best to be left apart in most cases.
(As an example_learned by my awful habit of overhearing_, they give free sandwiches to their volunteers. It figures they have to get their tickets in the auditorium (the farthest cinema) and then, when it's lunch time, go for their sandwich. So far, so good. But they haven't told them they can also get their sandwiches in Palau Miramar (much closer to the rest of the cinemas). So, three days later, the volunteers discovered it bythemselves. Nice, uh?)
Anyway, let's review:

( review under the cut )
All in all, a great film. I'm sure it will come to spanish theatres soon (this winter, perhaps, as we don't have a Potter one), but I'm glad to have gone yeaterday to Sitges to watch it.
Then, after the film, I tried to look for a place to have a snack and a coffee, but then realized I left my wallet in the cinema. I had to wait for the session to finish to enter again and look for it. All in all, I lost two hours wandering through the village and sitting in front of the cinema.
I draw a bit. I'll show you later. Now I'll have to rush to the gym if I want to do some aquagym.
No, today I have no film.

Salut, república i revolució.
